Salami
A lazy sunday sketch of one of my cats. Salami…and she does look a bit like the sausage
. She is one of the fattest cats in our house. Her competitors are Bacardi (a ragdoll) and Pirojzki (a.k.a. Michelin cat).
It is unfortunate that I don’t have a color pencil that matches her orangey coat. That orange/vermillion I used is actually way too orange.

You are so prolific. So much new entries each time I come to see your blog!
I like this drawing. I also tried to draw my cat, but with less success. She always moves before the end of my drawing. I never succeeded to make such nice drawings with my color pencils. What kind of color pencils do you use?
About your question on the Pelikan Sepia Ink: I dilute it with water, but once it is dry it is more or less waterproof.

Thanks Laurent and Karen!
Laurent, the set of color pencils that I use is from/called Design Spectracolor. I don’t know if this is available in Europe. I bought it in the US a long time ago.
